We want the church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ. Visiting somewhere new can be intimidating. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable and welcome when you walk through our doors. We have smiling faces waiting to greet you and we will show you where to go. Enjoy a cup of coffee and relax with us!
Our church is located at 3941 Dawes Road Mobile, AL 36695., and parking is located behind the church.
If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.
What do I wear?
Answer At FBC Dawes we want you to feel comfortable to come as you are. We welcome jeans, t-shirts, suits, ties, tuxedos…you get the idea. On Sundays, you will see people wearing clothes ranging from dressy to casual.
What should I expect when I arrive?
Answer Whether you've attended church your entire life or never at all, we know it's not easy visiting a church for the first time. You're not quite sure what to expect and you probably have a lot of questions. At FBC Dawes, we want to give you the best experience possible.
What do you have for my kids?
On Sunday Mornings we have Sunday School at 9:15 AM and then Kids (Grade 1st through 3rd) attend Children’s Church.
How long is a service?
Answer All weekend services typically last around 60 minutes. If you have children, please arrive about 15 minutes early so you have plenty of time to check them in at our Preschool / Children’s department before the service begins.
