Cathy holds a B.S. Degree in Music Education from The University of Mobile. She also holds a Master’s Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from The University of South Alabama. For over 50 years she has served as pianist at several Southern Baptist Churches and has been the pianist at FBC Dawes since 2003. Cathy is married to Burt Youngblood, and they have 4 grown children and 12 grandchildren. In 2018 she retired from a 30-year public school music teaching career and currently maintains a private piano studio teaching students at all levels.
